Considered one of the most beautiful landscapes in the country, the Pedra Azul State Park is located in the municipality of Domingos Martins, 55km above the municipality’s headquarters and 94km from the capital, Vitória.
The Pousada has a privileged location, it is at 1100m of altitude and the climate is cold during most of the year. There are numerous options of ecotourism and agrotourism,
gastronomic tourism being the strongest feature of the place.
How to get there
I – FOR THOSE WHO COME FROM VITÓRIA:
1 – Follow the BR-262, towards Belo Horizonte and, after passing the village of Pedra Azul, turn left at the level interchange, following the Geraldo Sartório Highway, ES-164, which leads to Vargem Alta. The Hotel is 5 km from this intersection, on the left. It’s a little red house, with a tall water castle, 100 meters before the entrance to the Rota do Lagarto.
2 – For those who arrive during the day and want to go through a very romantic road, the Rota do Lagarto is also an option to pass very close to Pedra Azul and the entrance to the State Park. Just enter at km 88, on BR-262, at Lanchonete Petterli. The Route has 7 km, paved. Follow to the end. Pousada Rabo do Lagarto is at km 7. Turn right and right again on the cobblestone of the Pousada.
II – FOR THOSE COMING FROM BELO HORIZONTE:
1 – On the BR-262, after passing Venda Nova do Imigrante, continue for approximately 12 km until the intersection that leads to Vargem Alta, turning right. We are located 5km from BR-262, on ES-164, on Rodovia Geraldo Sartório.
