The Pedra Azul region offers the balance

Considered one of Brazil's most beautiful landscapes, Pedra Azul State Park is in the municipality of Domingos Martins, 55 km above the town and 94 km from the state capital, Vitória.
We are in a special spot, 1,100 m above sea level, and the climate is cold for much of the year. There are many ecotourism and agritourism options,
and food is the region's strongest draw.
Getting here
I – COMING FROM VITÓRIA:
1 – Take the BR-262 toward Belo Horizonte and, after the village of Pedra Azul, turn left at the junction onto Rodovia Geraldo Sartório, ES-164, toward Vargem Alta. The inn is 5 km from the junction, on the left. Look for a little red house with a tall water tower, 100 meters before the entrance to the Rota do Lagarto.
2 – If you arrive by day and would like a romantic little road, the Rota do Lagarto passes close to Pedra Azul and the State Park entrance. Turn off at km 88 of the BR-262, at Lanchonete Petterli. The road is paved and 7 km long. Follow it to the end. We are at km 7. Turn right, then right again onto the inn's cobblestones.
II – COMING FROM BELO HORIZONTE:
1 – On the BR-262, after Venda Nova do Imigrante, continue for about 12 km to the junction for Vargem Alta and turn right. We are 5 km from the BR-262, on the ES-164, Rodovia Geraldo Sartório.
